Research Activities

Research on geotechnical preservation technologies

This research are divided into two major areas: research into evaluation and countermeasures for geotechnical stability of rock and ground structures, and research into contamination countermeasures for contaminated geological structures encountered during construction projects. With regard to the former, we are working to clarify the displacement characteristics of such hazardous substances as heavy metals, chlorinated organic compounds and dioxins, and aim to develop examination, analyses, monitoring and control measures for these types of contaminated substances.
