Filipino researchers studying on flood inundation analysis at ICHARM

Two trainees are staying at ICHARM from the Philippines Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) under the training program on Flood Inundation Analysis during 12-22 November 2012.
The training program will help the staff members of the PAGASA understand the mechanism of weather conditions and inundation in the Pampanga River basin during severe floods in 2011 and 2012

- Learning basic concept of flood inundation analysis
- Simulation of flood inundation in 2011 and 2012 in the Pampanga River basin
- Analysis of causes of inundation in the Pampanga River basin
