UNESCO and Japan Renew Partnership for ICHARM
On 23 July, 2013, the Ambassador of Japan to UNESCO, H.E. Mr Isao Kiso and the Director-General of UNESCO, Irina Bokova, signed an agreement for the renewal of ICHARM at the UNESCO Headquarters in Paris.
The agreement, which entered into force upon its signature, grants ICHARM the status of an international centre under the auspices of UNESCO (Category 2) for a second six-year term. For more information, please visit the UNESCO website.
