ICHARM Symposium "ICHARM Quick Reports on Floods 2009"
ICHARM will hold "ICHARM Quick Reports on Flood 2009" on 10 December 2009.
From 2008 to 2009, a number of devastating flood-related disasters occurred all over the world; in April 2008 in Myanmar by Cyclone “Nargis”, in May 2009 in India and Bangladesh, in August in Taiwan, in September in Philippines and in July and August in the western part of Japan.
In such circumstances, the International Centre for Water Hazard and Risk Management (ICHARM) organizes a collection of quick reports on the most serious floods occurring 2008-2009, inviting top local experts responsible for national flood research and management.
