I am delighted to be given an opportunity to be part of the research team at ICHARM. I look forward to learning from the Japanese experience of Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR), in order to assist my country in paving the way for improved disaster risk management. My aim is to steer the disaster management paradigm existing at all tiers of government towards strengthening cross-sectoral resilience, in turn enabling the Pakistani society to address vulerabilities and disaster impact mitigation.

2. Bachelor of Business (Information Technology), Curtin University, Australia

Professional Experience:

A civil servant belonging to the Pakistan Administrative Service, who has worked in various roles across different provinces since joining the civil service in 2009.
