Landslides and slope collapse triggered by Tyuetsu offshore Earthquake (July 2007) |
A number of landslides and slope collapse were confirmed after the earthquake of magnitude 6.8 hit Tyuetsu offshore on 16 th July, 2007 (seismic intensity: 6-high). Officially requested by Niigata Prefecture, Landslide Team investigated totally 4 landslides on 19th July in Kashiwazaki City and advised how to install countermeasures. | |
