This
station is in PWRI facility in Tsukuba city. There are facilities
to observe temperature, precipitation, wind direction and velocity,
humidity, air pressure, surface temperature, soil moisture, evaporation
and so on. |
| Current meter calibration facility | |
| This facility mainly calibrates the current meter for low flow observation of river. The transport with current meter mounted runs on 175m-channel and creates the current velocity minimum 0.01m/s, maximum 6.00m/s. Current calibration data have been accumulated for last 20 years and combined with research on river discharge observation accuracy. Current meters owned by river offices in Japan are calibrated and new observation instruments are developed in this facility, which is available for other organizations for a suitable fee. |  |
