Current meter calibration facility
This facility mainly calibrates the current meter for low flow observation of river. The transport with current meter mounted runs on 175m-channel and creates the current velocity minimum 0.01m/s, maximum 6.00m/s. Current meters owned by river offices in Japan are calibrated and new observation instruments are developed in this facility, which is available for other organizations for a suitable fee.
