On June 17, the Ambassador of the Embassy of the Republic of Malawi in Japan and his delegation visited ICHARM to meet with a Malawian student, who are currently studying in a one-year master’s degree program, "Water-related Disaster Management Course of Disaster Management Policy Program" (JICA knowledge Co-Creation Program on "Flood Disaster Risk Reduction”).
After a courtesy call on ICHARM Executive Director KOIKE Toshio, they were shown around the centre, including watching the students attending a lecture. Then, the group had a talk with the Malawian student about his impression of the training so far and his hopes after returning to his country.
