Opening ceremonies were held for the master’s
and doctoral programs

ICHARM offers a master’s degree program, “Water-related Disaster Management Course of Disaster Management Policy Program (JICA Training Program: Flood Disaster Risk Reduction),” and a doctoral degree program, “Disaster Management Program,” in collaboration with the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) and the National Graduate Institute for Policy Studies (GRIPS).

This October, seven new students started the 14th-year master’s program (1 year), and two new students started the 11th-year doctoral program (3 years). An open ceremony was held online for each program at ICHARM Auditorium on the 1st and the 5th, respectively.

Despite the COVID-19 pandemic, we have been able to continue our educational programs, taking extra precautions against the virus.
